I received my 8th-12th grade education at Jesuit High School in New Orleans, and graduated in 1989. Those times certainly were a blur. Growing up in New Orleans wasn't all that easy (I'm now just starting to realize this), and I'm actually quite lucky I made it through alive. I could legally drive (by myself) when I was 15, and legally drink when I was 18. Needless to say, my buddies and I jumped the gun a little bit on some things.   • Dominican High School Back to School Dance (Freshman year)<br /> The first dance I was actually invited. Never mind it was one of my carpool buddies.
  • This single picture was to cause me hell for years to come. The original "Rick Faulstich Dance Step." For some reason I made that goofy leg pose.
  • JHS Homecoming Dance (sophomore year)<br /> Marriott Hotel, New Orleans, LA - 10-10-1986<br /> Gerald (not pictured) gathered us up from all edges of the city. He also gave me my first 80-plus MPH negotiation of "The Fucker" (two tight-radius turns on I-10 right before the High-Rise).<br /> We tried to by booze everywhere but ended up empty-handed. We "dined" at T.G.I.F.'s.<br /> Keep an eye on the swapping that will on over the years. Evie (with Keith) ended up being my long-term highschool girlfriend; Keith got married to a girl that I could never quite hook up with; Aimee (with Greg) was a girl I chased my entire grammar school carreer; Suzette (with me) always wanted Greg even though we dated for a few months.

  • Jesuit High Homecoming Dance - November, 1987 <br /> Louisiana Superdome, New Orleans, LA<br /> <br /> Just your average dance picture. The only thing that's notable (but thankfully not noticeable!) is that I am wearing some... ummm... "prosthetics..." because of my wreck.

  • Jesuit Winter Party - December 9th, 1988 Jesuit High School Cafeteria, New Orleans, LA My first rock and roll band, Kahuna, and my first gig. I started playing guitar when I was in the hospital after the car wreck because I couldn't do a whole lot else.
