Rigs (equipment)

Out of all of my possessions, I am most undeserving of some of the musical equipment I've had. If you don't have the talent, you might as well get the best crutches you can get your hands on. ;) Here's some of the equipment I've gone through over the years, starting from most current and finishing up with the stuff I started on.

Beautiful guitar; guy going through divorce in New Orleans sold it to me circa 1988 for $600 (including flight case). It was stolen from my closet at my rental house while at LSU during Christmas break 1993. It was replaced by my current guitar by the insurance company. Months later it was spotted being played at a club 80 miles away by my girlfriend's ex-boyfriend; I really regret not bothering to retrieve it.

This picture is shot in our practice room. Judging by the senior ring on my hand, I'm either 16 or 17 years old.

Note: Even though that my current rig is shown, I just grabbed Duck's Telecaster for this picture - I was still playing the '78 Black Beauty at this time.
