Bonnaroo (2007)
Bonnaroo - The mother of all music fests. Woodstock for the new millenium. Over 100,000 people camping out in a 700 acre field in Manchester, TN for three days in complete anarchy.
We cheated serious injury (and death) for another year.

It may take a while to load up, so be patient. Try doing a "play tour" on any of the paths and you can watch from our point of view. - GPS Exchange (GPX)
The industry-standard XML format that can be used with just about any GPS/mapping tool that exists.
I got lost for over 8 hours on the first night at my last Bonnaroo (couldn't find my campsite). Never mind the fact that I was a three-year veteran. I also got lost for a few ours the year prior. I vowed never to let this happen again. That's all I would need for inspiration to buy a GPS. I then figured out a way to automatically stamp any photos that I take with my digital camera with the location I took the photo. That's all I needed to make it a no-brainer. I didn't even come close to getting lost this year. I also turned it on for the entire weekend (whenever I could remember). Our location on earth (within 6 feet of accuracy) was stamped every single second. The tracklog shows that we walked over 12 miles in those few days (again, whenever I remembered to turn it on.)
What a long strange trip it was.
I have posted all of the GPS data (waypoints, tracklog, paths, etc.) collected over the weekend in the following formats:
